Douglas Beaver

Beaver is an internationally recognized security expert with over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and security. Beaver’s broad international security experience took him to many high threat regions in the Middle East, South America, and Asia to include Pakistan, India, Jordan, and Israel, where he provided high-level security expertise and solution-based consultation for U.S. companies with overseas locations. Beaver is the former president/chief executive officer of a prominent Washington, DC, based security business and previously held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information government security clearance while working within the Department of Defense intelligence community. Beaver maintains the internationally recognized designation of Certified Protection Professional, which is acknowledged worldwide as the security profession’s highest recognition of practitioners. Beaver is the current chair of the ASIS Cultural Properties Council and an active member of the ASIS Global Terrorism, Political Instability, and International Crime Council.
