LJ Hartman
Vice President of Facilities and Security Operations at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LACMA
LJ Hartman is the Vice President of Facility and Security Operations, also leading and supporting the Facilities, Planning and Construction, Information Systems, Visitor Services, and Membership departments at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LACMA.
Previously, she held Director of Security positions at both the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco and began her career in cultural property protection at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.. Ms. Hartman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and two Master of Science degrees in Leadership and Business Management with an emphasis in Strategic Planning and Organizational Development from the University of La Verne in California and is a member of several organizations, including serving on the board for the International Committee of Museum Security (ICMS).
