Melissa Miller
Preparedness and Response in Collections Emergencies Program Contractor, Smithsonian National Collections Program and Sole Proprietor, MQM Museum Services
Melissa Miller is the sole proprietor of MQM Museum Services, a freelance consulting business that provides collections stewardship services to cultural organizations. Her current work for the Smithsonian National Collections Program (NCP) provides programmatic support for the Preparedness and Response in Collections Emergencies Team. Prior to working with NCP, MQM Museum Services worked on projects for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Landmark Columbus Foundation, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Melissa has a Master of Arts in museum studies from Indiana University – Purdue University of Indianapolis, and a Bachelor of Arts in art conservation and anthropology from the University of Delaware.
