Visitor Experience Manager, National Museum of American History
Vanessa Herndon has been with the National Museum of American History since 2019. She is passionate about encouraging collaboration among front-line teams and creating an inclusive and community building visitor experience. In her role, she develops visitor studies, presents customer service trainings for frontline staff, and manages the museum’s Information Desk and Museum Ambassador volunteer programs. She holds a Master’s in Museum Studies from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in History from Morgan State University.
