Christopher Singh
Senior Security Manager, The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Christopher Singh is a Senior Security Manager for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and oversees Emergency Preparedness. He earned his master’s degree in protection management and bachelor’s degree in forensic science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Mr. Singh has completed Harvard University’s National Preparedness Leadership Initiative’s Preparing to Lead in Crisis Program, the Certified Institutional Protection Manager course from the International Foundation of Cultural Property Protection and is studying to take the Certified Protection Professional exam. He was a former Transit Management Analyst for the MTA New York City Transit Security Department. Mr. Singh has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 16 years in various positions. He is dedicated to the protection of life and property, and currently a co-chair of the Museum & Library Subcommittee for ASIS Cultural Properties Committee. He is also a current member of the International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection, the International Association of Emergency Managers, the Disaster Recovery Institute International, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
